Introduction A few months ago I attended a webinar held by the Directorate General of State Property, Ministry of Finance with the theme of BMN Certification in Ministries/Agencies with sources from UGM Legal Experts on land. In the question and answer session, there were many complaints from the heads of the KPKNL Office who discussed the customary or customary land rights who complained about their territory even though the land had been certified by the ATR/BPN.
